Recently we have come up with some preliminary lyrics for our national anthem. We do not have a musical score at this time, but the lyrics follow:
 

      When a new nation first arose,
      Out of the world's oppressive haze,
      There was a sound throughout the land,
      A newly freed people sung this phrase:

      Oh, Freedonia, Freedonia the land that saves,
      Freedonians never shall be slaves.

      People less fortunate than we,
      Sadly to their governments kneel,
      While our nation shines great and free,
      A land of solace, land of zeal.

      Oh, Freedonia, Freedonia the land that saves,
      Freedonians never shall be slaves.

      In our majesty we arise,
      above the world's oppressive states,
      People of earth, open your eyes,
      And see that your freedom awaits!
